The architecture of the Hyundai Tucson NX4 was taken as the basis for the exterior and body. Kia's design is dominated by sharp, crisp edges that combine to create the feel of a car of the future.

Among the characteristic differences are:

  • the signature grille in the shape of a tiger’s nose, but compared to the previous version, this element began to look more massive;
  • LED diamond-shaped headlights with bright zigzag running lights;
  • rear peak lights with triangular light elements on the trunk;
  • new design of the Korean Kia logo;
  • updated wheel arches in the form of broken lines.

Inside the Kia Sportage generation there is a completely updated interior. Instead of an analogue dashboard, a digital version is installed with the ability to display the necessary information directly on the windshield.

In addition, the quality of the interior trim, the seats in particular, has been improved. The driver's touchpad is located 30 mm lower. This is done in order to increase the driver’s concentration on the road, only partially being distracted by multimedia. Also in the cabin there are wireless charging, several cup holders and a modern washer instead of a gear lever
